FIBCs (flexible intermediate bulk containers) are an easy way of transporting and storing large quantities of product safely and efficiently. They are commonly used in numerous industries including but not limited to agriculture, chemical, pharmaceutical, pet food, and metals & mining. In many of these industries, a bag is not enough and needs to be paired with a bag poly liner.
Bulk bags with poly liners are often used for food products and very fine powders. These poly liners are inserted into each bag and work with both duffle top and spout top bags. Often times, liners can also be made with attachment tabs which allow the liners to be sewed, tied or glued to the bag removing the chance of liner discharge.

HACCP is a management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
Such packaging is often referred to as “type-approved”, “UN Approved” or “UN certified” “POP” (performance oriented) and is marked in a particular way, prefixed by the UN Packaging symbol and followed by alpha numeric codes. It is not only important to select the correct UN approved packaging, but it is also important to use it as it was tested and carefully follow the closure information provided by the manufacturer.
